I know that Floyd’s Barbershops are all over the country now, but that’s all the more reason to stop by and take some creative design notes. My personal favorite? The poster walls:
Looks like wallpaper on steroids. But it’s better: music posters, decoupaged to the walls wherever you look. To add further depth and interest, they cut most of the posters out to reflect the unique shapes in their artwork.
The result is enthralling. I’ll admit it: I got completely lost to ogling my favorite musicians during my son’s last haircut.
Looks like I know what to do with the stairwell to our basement music room.
